GTA V And Red Dead Redemption 2 Writer Leaves Rockstar After 16 Years

If you like the stories told in Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V , then here's some bad news. Michael Unsworth, responsible for drawing up such narratives, said goodbye to Rockstar after 16 years of service.

Unsworth joined the company in 2007 and has also worked on other franchises such as Midnight Club Los Angeles, LA Noire and Max Payne 3. Very experienced in creating universes, he is free on the market.

On LinkedIn, a comment about his skills makes it clear how important he was:
Mike is an experienced writer who has spent over 16 years working for Rockstar Games as a creative lead on some of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful video game franchises of all time, most notably Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption.

He has a deep understanding of interactive storytelling, character development, and open-world design, as well as extensive experience building and managing creative teams.

Rockstar may launch GTA 6 in October 2024

Rockstar may be preparing GTA 6 for October 2024. Financial reports from Take-Two have been indicating a big release for next year.
